So Much Stuff to Sing

Mar 15, 2021

It's the most Sondheim-ful time of the year! In honor of The Great One's birthday, it's time for another Sondheim mini-series. This time, we'll be tackling a few of our favorite pastiche songs from his shows, starting with "You Could Drive a Person Crazy" from Company. We talk about the hidden rage of The Andrews Sisters, the correct pronunciation of "bubbe," and those lyrics.

All clips are from the1970 Original Broadway Cast Recording featuring Donna McKechnie, Susan Browning, and Pamela Myers and are used in accordance with the Fair Use Exemption for criticism and commentary.
